When is the next opportunity to join an agility class?
An Open House/Tryout session is held each October. See the calendar for the exact date or email agility@milwaukeedog.com
What happens at the Open House & Registration?
You'll experience:
- Introduction to the MDTC agility program
- Q&A session
- "Try-it" opportunity with equipment
- Basic obedience testing
- Registration for classes (if selected)
What are the basic requirements for my dog?
Your dog should have:
- Reliable sit, stay, down, and come commands
- Good impulse control
- Handler focus
- Confidence in trying new things
- Desire to follow instructions
What is the class schedule?
Frequency: Weekly on Saturdays
Time: 8:00 AM - 9:45 AM (includes setup/reset time)
Duration: November through April
You must be able to attend weekly Saturday morning classes, commit to the full 5-month program, and participate in course setup and reset.
What do I need for registration?
Bring:
- Completed registration form (Current or New member version)
- Copies of required dog information
- Payment (cash or check)
